Lindau, Germany – RENZ CHRISTIAN ARGAO, the Youth Coordinator of Religions for Peace Philippines was elected as the Coordinator of the International Youth Committee of Religions for Peace. The election took place during the 2nd Business Meeting which happened during the Religions for Peace 10th World Assembly.
Argao will head the 15-member committee until the 11th World Assembly, expected to take place within the next five to seven years. Argao will also take a seat as a Member (ex officio) of the World Council, which include two other Filipinos, His Eminence Luis Antonio Cardinal G. Tagle, D.D. and Bishop Efrain Tendero, as well as other senior religious leaders.

A representative each from of the Sihk Youth Association of North America, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, and the World Student Christian Federation-Europe.
Just recently, Argao was appointed as Co-Moderator of the RfP Asia & the Pacific Interfaith Youth Network.
The IYC is the highest governing body of the RfP Global Interfaith Youth Network, composed of 90 national chapters in 6 regional bodies.
